Not only that, but we actively bet the first half of both NFL and NCAA football games using both spreads and moneylines there too. In betting the NFL, we feel the NFL has experienced such parity over the last seven years or so that over the course of a full season the best way to play underdogs in certain games is with the moneyline. We incorporated moneyline betting in our NFL picks in 2005. Since then our results show that moneyline betting on underdogs in the NFL can be very rewarding if you can hit 55% of your bets or better. Of course that isn't easy to do and that is why you are on this website. | We use a five unit bet system that is broken down into halves. In other words, if you use $100 to represent 1 unit, a 3.5 unit bet would be for $350. For moneyline betting you simply multiply the unit bet based on the size of the moneyline. For example, if we place a 2 unit bet on a moneyline of +200 and it wins that would be +4 units.
